So we went to Trails End this weekend...
Now, this isn't the end of world but it's just par for course for me. It seems I have this never ending string of stupid shit that happens to me.
We got about 10 miles away from Trails End and received this...

I went to remove my brand new spare tire only to find the rod that you spin is completely bent. Trying to "unscrew/unwind" the rod to lower the tire was just plain stupid.
I have no idea how it was bent since the trailer is new and I've never used it.
Then I realized I left the floor jack sitting in the garage. I decide in my infinite wisdom that I would remove the stabilizer jack from the rear of the trailer. It wasn't strong enough and a police car pulled up.
The police officer offered to run to the fire dept to see if they had a floor jack.
Not only did they bring a floor jack (a little $39 walmart 2 ton floor jack... (which incidentally was better than what I had...LOL)) they brought the whole damn town. You can see it in this pic but the fire chief was there, three other fire vehicles and a police car. I was getting embarrassed from all the onlookers...LOL.

At one point, when I crawl back from underneath, one of the fireman says to pull my truck forward so we can pull the front tire on a block of wood. I ask him to remove the scissor jack I took off the rear of the trailer first.
Apparently he thought it would be okay to pull the trailer forward with a scissor jack still jacked up. LOL.

But at the end of the day, we were able to get on our way.

On the bright side, the Jagged X KICKED ASS!! WOW is all I can say. I have a few more mods to do and the good news is I only tore up one thing... a CV boot. (not even sure how...lol)
Still had a great time... but one of these days, I'm going to leave my shop and return and have nothing to post!
