Garmin Montana 650
Need info.
Rode today with a friend that has a Garmin Montana 650. Can anyone tell me if the following is possible? Once you download a map for instance like Hatfield McCoy trails and you save a specific location, if you try to go to that specific location, does it give you directions based on the trails you have downloaded?
On my current GPS, if I have trails downloaded and want to go to a saved location, it basically shows you where you are and where your location is but then you get an arrow telling you which direction to go. It does not actually tell you which trail to take (like a GPS you'd use on the street)
According to my friend, you use the Montana to take you to your location via the trails already downloaded.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks,
Mark
