Down with the VIPR's.

Last year i needed new tires because wore out the stock XP tires in 800 miles. Wanted something different so i tried out the Maxxis Vipr. BAD MOVE on my part. I got them and was pretty happy. I made the mistake on my 3rd trip and got a pinched sidewall because i kept the air pressure to low.

I had bought the 26x12x12 for the rear and 26x9x12 for the front. A couple months later during the summer i start noticing how much smaller my tires are compared to guys with the stock Bighorns. Not slightly smaller, but drastically smaller.

Last week decided it was time to upgrade from stock rims and order a set of MSA M20's in black and a set of Mongrels in 28x10x14. I didn't order everything together but today the tires showed up as i had the wheels for a couple weeks.

I got everything loaded up and head over to Discount Tire to get everything mounted. I had talked with them about ordering tires, but Midwest UTV Customs got me a great deal.

Back from Discount ready to put them on the RZR.

Set one of the tires next to the rear VIPR. HOLY CRAP!!!! The vipr is 2" off the ground with the Mongrel leaning over it was still over an inch taller. 26" to a 28" tire.

Got to thank Midwest UTV Customs for quick shipping, great response on the site when i had questions.
