I have a 2012 rzr s 800. With a little over 1000 miles on it. I am the second owner which I bought it with 300 miles on it. I just got it back from the dealership Friday after getting new prop shaft put on under warranty. I was due for an oil change so I changed it that afternoon. Checked the tranny and transfer case fluid. It was all good. Even greased all the zerks. It has 996 miles on it when I got it from the dealership. Now it has 1041 miles on it and has a hole in the side of the block. I was letting a buddy drive my rzr and I was following behind him on another buddies rzr about 30 mph down a back road and mine backfires and shut off. Oil and antifreeze was dripping out of the bottom. Took skid plate off when I got home and found the hole in the block. Idk if the rod hit the transmission also but it was lock up also and you couldn't move if even in neutral until I hooked my 4 wheeler to it trying to get it off the trailer then another "pop" and it was able to roll again in neutral. Park also works now and when in neutral pushing it it sound horrible like the tranny is blown up to. I was needing to know what I needed to do to it before I took it to the dealer? I've heard warranty company's are bad when it comes to a major claim like motor or tranny. My dealership also asked the other day if I did a lot of water riding just because my seats were heavy. I've never noticed it and just told them I didn't have a top til last month and probably just from being washed. Just trying to see if anyone else has been through this and could give me some advice and pointers. Thanks in advance
