Hello,
I am a Sound Recordist and am hoping to record a RZR, preferably a Turbo for my library.
I'm in Los Angeles and am hoping to visit someone in the Southern California area who has a vehicle and knows of a great place to drive where we can get the sound of the vehicle without a lot of unwanted noise to ruin the recording (like other vehicles riding on the same terrain, or nearby traffic/construction).
I'd like to capture it on dirt, rock, and cement, and record things like the engine, wheels, onboard, bys, starts, stops, etc. Hopefully some jumps too.
You as the owner wouldn't have to worry about anything but bringing your RZR and driving. It would just probably be a fun half day of recording some great sounds!
I could pay the costs of the adventure like gas, and maybe a fair price for your time, so please let me know what that would be.
I hope to hear from someone soon as I'd like to record in the next few weeks.
Looking forward to it!
Cheers!
