To any of you that would be interested, North 40 MX park in Denison, TX and Podium SXS are hosting a 3 race series called the Off-Road Short Course Nationals. We have had the first race and are looking forward to the 2nd round next Sunday Feb. 16th. N40 is an old school GP type motocross track that has been modified to be more UTV friendly. There are no whoops or gap jumps on the track,and is for the most part very forgiving. After the first round the gentlemen in charge are making further changes in order to make racing more safe and fun for us competitors. If you have any interest and availability I would encourage you to come out for on Saturday Feb. 15th from 9a-3p for open practice. They are running a sportsman class that will be a good start for all the beginning and novice racers to have fun, as well as a pro class for the more advanced drivers. The guys at Podium SXS have made a big commitment for this to be a great series. If you are even curious,I would urge you to come out and spectate if nothing else, its a great vantage point to watch the 1 mile track. Check out the site at https://www.facebook.com/OSCNracing.
