Opinions on swimming with the Warn winch wireless remote

Ok, here is the deal:

After three years and literally hundreds of hard pulls, my Polaris 3500 winch is finished... sort of. In actual fact, the winch still worked but was weak and was becoming unreliable. I have nothing bad to say about the winch but after long service, the motor is completely thrashed, the solenoid is pretty much dead and the rope is very tired. The cost of fixing the thing up wasn't worth it so I bought a spanky new Warn Pro Vantage 3500 S.

The situation:

Most of the riding I do isn't too far out of the norm for Saskatchewan, Canada. I ride the usual rock and sand trails, muskeg and a surprising amount of winter trails with lots of frozen lakes and snow (I work up north where the Rzr stays half the year). A reality of riding here is water. I am no "Soggy Bottom Boy" but I do run in two or three feet of water not infrequently and on rare occasion do go to four feet. (I am fully snorkeled and waterproofed)

I am happy with the purchase of the new Warn Pro Vantage 3500 S but am unsure about the wireless remote option.

The question:

Do any of you guys run the wireless remote on your machines that see full immersion of the transmitter and even the remote itself?

Again, I won't dunk the thing much but it will happen. I will mount the transmitter as high under the dash as I can and I plan to waterproof everything as best I can but to me this level of dodadery is a bit suspect. I do plan to run the dash mount switch and wire in my old reliable wired remote from the Polaris winch if I decide not to run the wireless one.

Any input is greatly appreciated including that on the winch in general...
