Adverse affects on power????

Do the exhaust and air intake systems on the 2014 XP 1000's have significant enough negative effects on power, that they warrant the end consumer to spend some serious $$$ to upgrade them to something aftermarket? With that said, and if the case can be argued that they do, what exhausts and air intakes come highly recommended? IMO, if the air filter only flows great because it allows about everything smaller than a bird into my engine, I for one am not interested in "upgrading" that part on my machine.
