I have 2011 800 with close to 3000 miles on it, been having a problem with oil comsumption, started at about 2500 miles, after a oil change and about 60 miles later, I would check my oil and it would be about almost a 1/2 qt low. It doesn't smoke at all and I don't see any leaks and no loss of power, I thought it may be burning it somehow, so I bought 2 qts of the PS4 Extreme Duty oil, changed it and after about 60miles, same results. I removed the bed to go deeper looking for oil leaks, found a 2inch slice that had been marked white by Polaris? in the rubber hose that goes from the breather tube on the valve pan to the air box, It was filled with mud. Just wondering what you guys think, could this be my problem? I'm gonna post some pics of this, I was in complete shock. Bought this RZR new from polaris. It was like they seen that it was a defective hose, mark the slice and used it anyway.
