We've been working on these for our racers for a while now and are about ready to do a small production run so we wanted to gauge interest here from you guys. Would anyone else be interested in a set of these for under $100 with powdercoat?
A common issue we're seeing with the XP 1000 is the trailing arms seem to actually "guide" flying rocks and debris into the deep inset wheels. This can cause major issues for the wheels, brakes, etc. These bolt on guards fit the OEM trailing arm and are a perfect solution for desert and dune drivers to keep from blasting the wheels with all the junk that normally gets in them.
We'll sell replacement high-impact ABS shields and are experimenting with different thicknesses to try find a good balance between something that deflects the bigger rocks but will still "slide" over an obstacle to some extent..
