Tires for colorado mountains

Hey guys,

New 900 xp4 owner here. I need some advice for tires when I am hunting elk in October. Currently I have 28" mongrels which are great for riding in AZ and CA but I worry about the mud and snow that is possible in Colorado.

Would these mongrels be ok for that 1 week I'm there or will it suck if it rains or snows?
