I've installed 1000 seats in my 900. The install was very easy. For those who are interested, here's how I did mine.

Use a torx bit with a drill. Makes for quick work.
Pull the bases. Disregard the 1000 bases.
Grind the flange off the 900 bases.
Cut the lower part of the 900 frame at the beginning of the bend.
set them along side of the 1000 lower frame and weld or bolt.
Done.... They line up with the 900 bases perfectly.
