570 vs 800s

Had a guy tell me today ( on facebook ) that his 570 would outrun my 800s even though he had 6" lift and like 32's and I just asked how he come to that conclusion. Nothing against a 570 just not a fan of the narrow things. But a few other guys chime in that if you put $5000 worth of suspension, tires, performance and other aftermarket parts that you basically end up with an 800s......then what's the point? Any opinions?
