inside wheel protectors

Ok i have read a lot about the issue with 12" wheel and rocks getting stuck in the inside wheel and rubbing a big grove in them and i have now actually seen it done last ride to a friends RZR. do the make a cover plate or something to place on inside of the wheel to keep stuff from getting in side of does some one have a great home made MOD for this.
