slip on exhaust idea

I don't know if anyone has tried this or not and I may be crazy but I hate the stock muffler on my rzr and have been considering a slip on exhaust since i bought it. However I don't like the price so I have been thinking of going the glasspack route but don't want that much noise especially since it cant be repacked like an atv silencer. I got looking at jegs and they sell a dynomax thrush turbo muffler that has a 2" inlet and outlet that should allow me to use the factory mid pipe and clamp it is a 3 1/4" x 7" oval body which should fit nicely sideways from the way the stock muffler is the one i am looking at has a 14" long body and is 18 1/2" total so should be about right to just put a 90 on it for a tip and fab some brackets at least from my measurements it should fit nicely. I think the chambered high flow muffler should be alot quieter than a glasspack and flow better than stock hopefully without being too loud. The muffler (dynomax part#17704) is $24.99 and i figure i can get a 90 and brackets for around $15 so figure it high at around $50 with some paint thats a whole lot cheaper than anything i have found. If anybody has any thoughts or opinions please share.
