Ok so it seems my new to me purchase of my 08 Rzr is burning a fair amount of oil. The dealer I bought it from is going to replace my top end for me.
I've done a ton of reading on these polaris air box problems and I want to fix mine but I don't know where to start? I can't figure out where the main problem is stemming from? Some say it's the paper filter? Mine has an oiled Uni in it. Some say it's the boots on the throttle body? Some say it's the poor o ring seal on the air box lid? Where or how is the dirt getting into my engine?
I want to fix the problem but I don't want to spend $400 bucks on an aftermarket air box. Or is this the only solution? I don't need a fancy snorkel setup either. Is there a budget way to fix the stock setup or no?
